A muscle is formed by a group of muscle tissues that contract as a single unit to produce a force to the tissue or objects that it is in contact with. About 600 muscles are found in human body that coordinate to move, speak, chew, etc. Muscles also control heartbeat, digestions and breathing. Finer aspects of movements like adjustment of lenses in the eye, movements of the eyeball, temperature regulation are all taken care of by the muscles.
